Meet Diane Coletta

Living in France with a passion for fashion

When did you start publishing, and what inspired you to create your site?

I started publishing Petite in Paris six years ago when I moved to Paris, France. I‘ve always loved fashion, but being very small, I never fit the “fashion mold.” Creating Petite in Paris allowed me to break into the fashion world and write about what I love.

What do you love most about being an independent publisher?

I love being able to create my own hours and work from home. I am more relaxed and enjoy what I do.

Do you have a team?

Yes — myself and my husband.

What can you tell us about interacting with your audience?

I love interacting with my audience. The biggest thing that surprised me most about Petite in Paris is how people from all around the world have contacted me asking for my advice or opinion on different fashion items.

How does advertising impact your business?

It allowed me to quit my corporate job and work on my website full time!!

What else should we know about your site?

Petite in Paris has allowed me to be invited to some of the most exclusive events in the world, from sitting in the VIP section at the Men‘s finals at the French Open to the front row at Fashion Week. I‘ve enjoyed and embraced every moment. The best part is, I‘ve met a group of friends through my website who are all passionate about fashion and writing!
